Honda Launches new CR-V

Honda launches the new version of CR-V which comes with new two-step front grill, new fog lamps and new rear bumper and hood which helps in enhancing the overall stability of the car. CR-V is known and well appreciated in Europe as soft-roader and getting the same level appreciations here in India. The best part of the new version of this particular car is the new 10 spoke wheel design which makes the car look sporty and aggressive. The CR-V is very good looking with its striking nose which says its very Honda and adds to its SUV credentials are the large and twin headlights, tall stance, tailgate mounted spare wheel.

CR-V comes with the same power train 2.4 & 2.0 litre advanced V-tech, four cylinder with 152 horses and the performance comes after 4000 rpm and the engine is rev happy especially with manual transmission. The good part of this power-train is that the driver can engage third gear at 20kph(this shows the level of refinement) and it pulls cleanly from 2000 rpm and the power delivery is very linear, added to that is the chasy which is monocoque and comes with independent suspension.

The CR-V has very good safety record with a four-star rated in NCAP crash-test. The CR-V combines the looks of an SUV and gets the refinement of a saloon which makes the car to use at ease in traffic and on highway but however, don't take it to off-road and try not to get turned off by the poor plastics though the interiors are pleasant.
