The smartphone market has been expanding and special focus is on Android based devices. As part of that the LG company has arrived with a new product to expand its smartphone portfolio. They have come up with a dual-SIM technology (GSM + GSM) in the form of their latest budget phone. This is the LG Optimus L3. The single-SIM variant was launched during the month of May. The L3 Dual has got the Android 2.3 as the operating system and it is powered by the 800 MHz processor. Coming to the display, it has got a 3.2 inch QVGA TFT screen and regarding the camera, it has got a 3.2 MP rear camera. As far as its memory goes, it has got a 384 MB RAM and an internal memory of 1 GB. Most importantly, the device is priced at Rs 8299 which is a good deal. The operating system is Android Gingerbread and the processor is provided by Qualcomm MSM 7225A Chipset. Coming to the connectivity, the LG Optimus has got the required facilities such as Wi-Fi b/g/n along with the Bluetooth 3.0. The internal memory can be expanded upto 32 GB using the USB port. The batter is powered at the rate of 1500 mAh and the body is also quite sleek. The reports from the market say that given its pricing and features, the LG Optimus L3 is worth a try. However, it has got a good competition in the form of Samsung Galaxy Y Duos. The other setback for this device is its processing speed. Some are expecting it to be at least 1 GB to have the right kind of response time. Overall, the feedback has been good on this one so check it out folks! |
