Micromax A44 Superphone Punk
The revolution being created by the Android based phones has been significant and in a country like India, the price factor also plays a key role. Keeping that in mind, the Micromax company has launched a new budget phone which is Android based and is considered the cheapest from that company. They are calling it the smartphone A44 Superfone Punk. The A44 Superfone Punk is a dual-sim mobile which is running on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) version. This has been powered by a 800 MHz processor and is fitted with a 256 MB RAM. Coming to the camera, it has got a 2MP camera fitted in the rear. In terms of memory, the smartphone has got a 140 MB internal and the external memory can be expanded upto 32 GB via micro SD. A focus has been kept on the battery to ensure the longevity. As part of that, the Superphone Punk A44 has got a battery of 1200 mAh which claims to have 4 hours of talktime. There are also the various connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, GPRS and Bluetooth 2.1. In terms of weight, the smartphone is not very heavy as it weighs just 120 grams and has a sleek design attached to it. The screen aspect also has been worked well on this device and it has got a 3.14 inch full-touchscreen display and that too with a QVGA resolution. Micromax is offering this device with a pair of ‘behind-the-neck’ headphones. The mobile is available in two colours, black and white.
