INTEX i-Buddy

A lot has been happening on the Tablet market and many companies have been coming up with new varieties and models. And here is a new offering for Tablet lovers. The noted Indian mobile phone maker Intex Technologies has arrived with its first ever 7-inch Android Tablet and this has been named as INTEX i-Buddy. The company claims this is the slimmest 7-inch tablet in the country.
 
The design is ultraslim and is with 9mm thickness. The i-Buddy runs on an OS of Android Ice-Cream Sandwich 4.0 and it is powered by a 1GHz processor. Regarding the hardware, the tablet has got a 512 MB DDR3 RAM and it can support a 32GB external storage. Coming to the screen, it comprises of a 7-inch multi-touch feature and it supports the updated Adobe Flash 11.1.
 
Coming to the camera, there is a front-facing camera and it is useful for video chatting with ease. The company is looking to offer i-Buddy at an inaugural price of Rs 6490. Intex has also decided to offer an exclusive leather cover with an attached keyboard and this accessory would cost Rs 2590. Before this, INTEX had launched the i-Tab which was an 8 inch tablet earlier this year.
 
However, there are few queries from the consumers such as the connectivity options and the information on battery life. There is also a contention that the thickness is not 9mm as specified but it is 13 mm. The INTEX company from their end are planning to come up with more upgraded and enhanced models in the coming months but for now it is all about i-Buddy folks.
