Reliance Upgraded 3G Tab
With the tablet market picking up a lot in India the Reliance Communications has now arrived with a new version of 3G powered tablet. This is being priced at Rs 14499 and it is an upgraded version of the tablet which arrived in August last year. This is called as Reliance 3G Tab V9A and it is meant to be having a faster processor, better screen resolution and video calling capabilities. The Tab V9A is running on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and the display is of 7 inches with a resolution of 1024 x 600 p resolution. The device is powered by 1.4 GHz processor and it is fitted with a 512 MB RAM. There are various other features such as a 3 MP rear camera, support for 3G, a VGA front camera for video calling. Also, the Tablet has got pre-installed documents. They are To Go, Big Flix, Reliance World Online, Twitter, Orkut, Facebook apps. Not only that, there is also an inaugural offer for first buyers. It is heard that Reliance is offering free goodies worth Rs 6250. The customers would be receiving free 3GB data and free video calls on local and STD Reliance 3G devices. This is for the duration of three months. And here is one more offer. The customers will get free postpaid voice rental for one year, one year free subscription of McAfee Mobile security, 4GB Micro SD Card, free subscription of Big Flix for 2 months, free international calling for Rs 250. On the flip side, it is the OS which runs on a slower platform when compared to its competitors like Samsung or Google. Even the pricing might be a deterrent for this one. |
