Samsung Series 5 550 Chromebook
The Samsung company which has been making inroads into the mobile market of India and captured it is now focusing on the laptop and netbook market. Now, they are arriving with the Samsung Series 5 550 Chromebook. This is an updated version of the debut Chromebook model. This noted book is in a much better shape and composition and here are few features of it. The S 550 Chromebook has 12.1 inch display. It weighs around 3.3 lbs and has a built-in Wi-Fi facility. The model is fitted with a 3G cellular modem and those who are purchasing abroad are getting two years of free online connection. The Chromebook is powered by an Intel Celeron processor and it has 4 Gigabytes of RAM. This is quite effective for web-based activities. There is also a 16 gigabytes of flash storage but if you are storing photos or songs then it is going to be very difficult. The device is more suited for internet operations and not for storage. The Chromebook is quite friendly when it comes to running applications from Google store. There are also special apps for stuff like Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, Netflix and other casual mediums. On the flip side, the hardware is a little unusual. Apparently, there is no Caps Lock key. The touch pad’s right-click sensitivity has not been calibrated well and it has taken nearly two-thirds of the surface. As such, they are minor when compared to the various other applications and features the Chromebook offers. In the US market, the Chromebook is priced at $ 449 so the Indian market will have a little higher price than that. |
