Google Nexus 7

With the Tablet competition heating up, here comes Google with their latest gadget. This is the Nexus 7 and soon it would be entering in India. This is powered by the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system and it is a competition to Apple IPad and Microsoft Surface.  This is built by ASUS and it measures 198.5 x 120 x 10.45 mm and it weighs only 340 grams.  And here are few important features.
 
The Nexus 7‘s screen has got a 7 inch dimension with HD display. Its resolution stands at 1280 x 800 pixels.  The screen is fitted with a back-lit IPS display and it also has a corning glass for protection. Coming to the processor, the Nexus 7 is powered by the Nvidia Tegra 3 Quad-core processor which is fitted with a 1 GB RAM along with a 12-core GPU.
 
This is quite useful for high quality graphics if you are gaming. Interestingly, this also has a gyroscope, Magnetometer and accelerometer. The tablet also has a smart keyboard, improved search, easy photo-sharing, gesture mode, voice search and other features. Now, there is one hiccup with this device and that is the lack of the rear camera.
 
Of course, it does have a 1.2 MP front-facing camera for video calling but the rear camera is not available. On the brighter side, the Nexus 7 has got a 4325 mAh battery which can give you eight hours of active use. This is available in two variants- the 8 GB model and the 16 GB model. In terms of connectivity, the tablet supports wi-fi, Bluetooth, microphone, NFC, GPS, Micro USB, USB as well.
