Kryoga for mind and body spirit
Kryoga (asanas) is an influential healing process that sharpens the mind and body producing better physical health, mental alertness and power. For people working late nights and having restless sleep leading to stressful and depressed health issues, Kryoga acts like a boon. It energizes the mind and eliminates the mental stress. Following these asanas or kryoga or breathing exercises one can easily balance out the life. Perform these asanas for just 15 minutes either in the early morning hours or in the evening hours after your work for healthier life.
Mountain Pose: Stand with closed feet with hands near the body. As you inhale, come on your toes and raise your arms over heads; interlace your fingers and raise your arms up with your palms facing upwards. Make sure you tilt your pelvis forward and tighten the buttocks. Hold your breath for two seconds and come down to the starting position. That’s one rep. Repeat for 2-3 reps.
Knee Raise: Start off by standing with closed feet and hands on your hips. As you inhale, raise both arms up and lift your right knee in front of you, towards your stomach. And as you exhale, swing your arms down and back by squatting half way down. Inhale and raise both arms over head by lifting your left knee towards the stomach. Hold for two seconds and breathe out. Repeat the same for about two to three reps.
Tree Pose: Stand with your feet shoulder width apart and hands beside your body. As you inhale come up on your toes raising your arms over head, interlacing fingers with your palms facing upwards. As you exhale bend side to your right and come back to the first position as you inhale. Repeat left side and come back to the first position. Exhale and bring your hands sides near body. Repeat this for five times.
