Positions to avoid while exercising
Doing exercise is a good thing but then if you don’t do it the right way then you are bound to have trouble for the rest of your life as it causes permanent injuries. So, you should remember that while exercising, the method and posture play a very important role. Hence, keep a close watch on your workout form. Here are few things to follow while following regular workout patterns. Firstly, you should stop jerking your weights and your body while doing workout. This would lead to injury and will have no effect on the muscles. You can look at going for a smooth weight training which can give you the right kind of muscles. But if you end up twisting and jerking especially while lifting weights then you would be prone to muscle pulls, fractures, joint pains etc. Secondly, you should not hasten up while doing workouts. The fibres of your muscle usually require a slow and smooth movement to build the size and strength. And if you do your workout quickly then it wont work out so take your time and do it properly. If you are fond of doing crunches don’t place your hands behind your head, if you push your head then it would lead to neck pain. While doing squats it is important to see that the body alignment and balance are in proper order. You must not bend too forward or go down below your knee level. Remember to arch your back and your abs should be tight with your head up and body in proper line. Your knees must not cross your toes and never ever lock your knees while you are lifting yourself. Do full range motion if you are doing weight training. |
