What do you know about Mindful Exercise??
Doing a workout and pumping it out at the gym is known to all but it takes a lot of introspection and observation on how the body is reacting to the wear and tear. And this is where the Mindful exercise comes into picture. Basically, this focuses on the awareness you have on your body while you are doing any form of physical exercise like yoga, dance, walking, pilates etc. Mindful exercise brings about the breathing and the parts of your body together with the mind without having any diverted thoughts. While doing the exercise, one must focus on the body part where the workout is happening such as a bicep or an inner thigh. Getting the mind to that area not only enhances the breathing technique it also puts that extra pressure shaping up the body part. A recent research has shown that by beginning to think that you want to exercise has positive effects on the body and once you start the workout, focusing on the particular body part will boost it in a big way. That way you can also experience the flow of energy. You would be able to know the system of your breathing, the rise and fall of your chest, the contraction of the stomach muscles etc. Engaging the muscles and thinking about putting them in such a position throughout the day helps in giving benefits and it will make you look better. Though it has a lot to do with mind tuning, once you start working on it then the practice will automatically raise the concentration levels and show a positive influence on your body. You should start believing that you are doing your body good and that will add double benefits when you exercise. |
